HyperScale for ATOS
In the production environment, we frequently experience temperature fluctuations throughout the day. To compensate for these changes and maintain measurement accuracy, the measurement needs to be recalibrated accordingly.
Restarting a full initial calibration would be more time-consuming. Therefore, simply use the HyperScale calibration method. With this method, it is possible to make a complete one shot calibration with just a single measurement of a DAkkS-certified length standard. The HyperScale bar is made of temperature-stable carbon fiber.
The points are placed on the bar in fixed, defined spacings and in sufficient quantity, always in identical positions. They serve as reference points for our measurement system their distances are specified, and the markers are required for the calibration. The HyperScale bar is DAkkS - certified and should be recertified at regular intervals.
The material is carbon fiber, which is both lightweight and highly temperature-stable, with virtually neglectable thermal expansion. This is crucial for calibration as well as for the actual measurement, since our measurement systems are often located on the shop floor and therefore exposed to temperature fluctuations.
For manual systems such as ATOS LRX or ATOS 5, no additional hardware is required. You place the HyperScale bar in the shop floor environment and start data acquisition until sufficient data has been recorded. For use in an automated cell like the ZEISS ScanBox, the bar is simply mounted to a wall using a bracket, so it can be removed later for recertification.
