OmniFix plastic ring chuck Ø70 mm
One material for holding metal parts securely is plastic. The density of plastics is usually significantly lower than that of metals. Above all, the possibilities offered by 3D printing make this material a practical aid in the CT field. With plastic jaw chucks, round and cylindrical components can be clamped easily and quickly. Due to the very good density ratio to metal alloys, metal parts can be clamped quickly and easily and radiated with a very good contrast.
In contrast to conventional clamping systems, all components are made of plastic or carbon fiber metal parts are not used. This eliminates artifacts and other disturbing factors caused by metallic parts.
In combination with the buckling element 626170-0011-155 (not included), the parts can be brought into the machine at the best possible angle.
