M3 XXT, Reference styli straight, carbon fibre shaft

In the M3 XXT system, the master stylus consists of a thermally stable, lightweight carbon fibre shaft and an 5 mm ruby sphere. The reference stylus is used to determine the exact position of the calibrated reference sphere. The reference stylus is marked with a red mark and should not be used for standard measurements.
