Styli with M3 thread are particularly suitable for ZEISS RST measuring probes. They can also be connected to other thread systems using the appropriate connecting element. Styli spheres made of ruby or silicon nitride are available. The standard shaft is made of tungsten carbide. Custom-made ceramic shafts are also available. In addition to the standard sphere styli, cylindrical styli, which are completely made of tungsten carbide, are also available. Caution: M3 and M3 XXT systems cannot be combined due to their different design (diameter adapter (DG) M3: 4mm M3 XXT: 5mm) weak interfaces and incorrect measurements would be the result.
