Product note
M2 extensions are suitable for M2 sensor from Renishaw. Due to the Ø3 mm shoulder, they should not be freely mixed with Ø4 mm M3 styli and extensions, or the Ø5 mm M3 XXT styli and extensions. The smaller diameter can lead to a loose connection and measurement errors. Special adaptors are available when reducing from M3 to M2. M2 extension are not recommended for scanning sensors such as VAST, VAST Gold or VAST XXT.
